The Pacific Ocean is the largest ocean on Earth. It covers around 30% of the Earth's surface. On average, every kilogram of seawater contains around 35 grams of dissolved salt.
Australia's Great Barrier Reef is the largest living structure on Earth. Covering an area of 350,00km2, even astronauts in space can see it! More than 1500 species of marine fish, 360 types of hard corals, 200 types of birds and 20 types of reptiles inhabit the Reef, and that's not a complete list!

Raiders and Traders
Our topic learning will cover these subject this half term: History, Art and Design, Design Technology, Geography, Music.
Big and strong, powerful and brave. The Saxons waved their battle axes and brandished their swords as they began to invade Britain’s shores.
We will be sailing back to the Dark Ages, where battles were rife and fear reigned. We will be finding out about the life of the Saxons, including how they lived and where they came from. We will meet the bloodthirsty Vikings from Scandinavia – never before had such terror swept the land.
