Starting school is an exciting time for you and your child and we can't wait to start your child's school adventure with them!

If you are interested in seeing what we can offer your child, don't hesitate to call us to book on to one of our school tours.

I'm sure you've all got lots of questions, and we'd like to reassure you that they'll be lots of opportunities for you to ask these over the coming months.

The county council allocate school spaces in April and if we are your named school, you can expect an induction e-mail from us shortly after. This will give you some important information about starting at Heathfields, including some key dates. Please keep an eye on your junk box as sometimes we can slip into there!

Throughout the Summer term the Reception team will be busy making preparations to give your child the very best start to school. This includes speaking with your child's current settings and visiting your child at nursery where possible.

If your child has a diagnosed SEN need or another professional agency involved, please e-mail the school office at jgilbert@heathfields.fierte.org for a follow-up up call from a member of the SEN team.

Starting school is an exciting time for young children and their parents. It can be a daunting time, too. But with a little preparation and encouragement, most children will settle in easily at school, ready to learn and discover.
