Useful information

Our PE days are: ~Monday and Tuesday.
See the link in the folder for each term for Home Learning activities.

EVERYDAY - Reading books, home/school diaries and P.E. kits should be in school.
Children’s work and achievements will be celebrated through Marvellous Me as well as for sharing home learning.

Homework

Freckle and spelling homework will be set weekly.
Children should all have login details for TT Rockstars and Freckle and will access them throughout the week both in school and at home.
Children need to read at least 5 times a week and should have their diaries signed by an adult.

P.E. Kit

Please provide your child with the following P.E. kit, as they will be taking part in some outdoor P.E. throughout the winter.

- T-shirt - white or house colour: red, blue, yellow, green or white (long sleeve tops can be worn underneath, particularly when cold).

- blue/black shorts (leggings underneath are permitted).

- blue/black tracksuit bottoms.

- blue/black sweatshirt.

- trainers/pumps.

Please ensure children have their P.E. kits in school all week, as there may be some weeks when children have additional games lessons.
During P.E. all jewellery is removed and hair should be tied back. Reminder, all earrings worn in school should be studs and not hoops for safety reasons.

We have learnt so much during the school year so far. Please make sure to keep up-to-date with all of our learning on our school's Twitter and Instagram pages @hiwjstaffs.
