Then decide your own fate, when a mysterious box is found and stirs your curious mind.
Spring 2 - Tremors!
Our project will cover these subject this half term: Geography, History, Art and Design, Design Technology and Science.
Tremors. Overwhelming and mighty, Mother Nature’s awesome energies hiss and roar deep within the Earth. Plates collide, spewing lava. Rocks rain down and mud slides in torrents. Towns and cities vanish under ashen clouds.
Discover the dangerous and ferocious world of natural disasters and glimpse savage and deadly effects. Visit the ancient city of historic Pompeii, frozen in time, then create your own blistering explosions from model volcanoes that fire foamy lava. Discover the properties of rocks shaped by the Earth’s breath taking power.
We made our own volcanic eruptions using a range of different liquids and a mint. We investigated to see which liquid would have the most amount left after we dropped a mint into it.
Our liquids we looked at were:
We found that the lemonade exploded and there wasn't as much left in the bottle compared to the still liquids, which made no change, after we dropped in the mint.
