The Pacific Ocean is the largest ocean on Earth. It covers around 30% of the Earth's surface. On average, every kilogram of seawater contains around 35 grams of dissolved salt.
Australia's Great Barrier Reef is the largest living structure on Earth. Covering an area of 350,00km2, even astronauts in space can see it! More than 1500 species of marine fish, 360 types of hard corals, 200 types of birds and 20 types of reptiles inhabit the Reef, and that's not a complete list!
