Your first task is to research essential information that you will need to know when budgeting a trip to a theme park! Choose one theme park to focus on – this could be a theme park that you have already researched during your topic home learning, or it could be a different one!
You will need to try to find the following prices:
Your second challenge is to display all of the information you have found on an excel spreadsheet. Use the Power Point to help you navigate your way around an excel document. Attached below is an example to help you, but we would like you to create your own, which includes as many of the details listed above as you can! This can be set out differently, as long as the prices for the theme park are clear!
Once you have completed this, we would like you to calculate how much it would cost for your family to go to the theme park. Think about all of the things that you might need to pay for throughout the day, not just an entrance ticket. It would be fantastic if you could include formulas on the spreadsheet to calculate the sums for you! Use the example below to help you. If you click on the cell that the total price is on, you will be able to see the formula that has been used.
