Collins SATs book- English directed task pages for today are-  Page 20 and 21- Blending Sounds.

This week we would have been exploring suffixes during our English lessons.

A suffix is a group of letters that is added to the end of a word which changes the meaning of the word.

Examples of these are;

jump -> jumping

walk -> walked

small -> smallest

In Year 2, we learn to use the suffixes -ment, -ness, -ly, -ful and -less.

Today can you practise using the -ness suffix?
