TBQ: Can I identify and use adverbs?

Adverbs add detail to a verb. It can tell us how, where and when. Have a look at the adverbs powerpoint.

Adverbs of time: tells us when something is happening ‘Finally, the car arrived.’

Adverbs of manner: tells us how something happens ‘He sat down quietly.’

 

Activity:  identify appropriate adverbs of manner and time for sentences given (word doc).
