Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you to the Year 1 parents and family members that attended the Maths lesson on Tuesday. The teachers and children told me how nice it was to see so many of you in the lessons.
We have had a lovely week focussing on Maths, ending with a day of dressing up as number. As school, we were bowled over with the creativity of the costumes.
We had a visit from the Glascote Academy's leadership team on Tuesday. They spent time in the Early Years classroom looking at our wonderful writing in the provision and during drawing club lessons. They were impressed with the writing being produced by the children.
Requests from Year 1; next week Year 1are making some sculptures. They are in desperate need of newspapers. If you have any spare or old newspapers, Year 1 would appreciate these being dropped off in their classrooms.

Messages from the PTFA
Events coming up . . .
Do you have any old or unused dressing-up costumes that another child could benefit from? The PTFA are asking for donations to be handed in to Mr Melloy on the gate from Monday 9th February until Tuesday 24th February. The PTFA will then hold the annual costume swap . . .
Thank you for your continued support—we hope you enjoy looking at your child's book this weekend. Please remember to return these on Monday morning.
Have a lovely weekend!
Mr Melloy
