Home Learning projects are given out at the start of each half term and due in near the end.
In addition, please help your child to practise their basic skills – Reading, Spelling, work set on Accelerated maths and TTRS every week. They will be rewarded for the effort they put into improving these skills.
Each child will receive a reading sticker if they read 5 times a week to an adult and have a signature in their planner.
Children can also earn maths stickers each week, by accessing all three maths programs (accelerated maths, maths facts in a flash and TTRS). If you need help with any of these programs, please come and speak to your child's teacher.
Please provide your child with the following P.E. kit, as they we be taking part in some outdoor P.E. throughout the winter.

Please bring your kit to school on a Monday and it will be returned on the Friday as there may be some weeks where children may have additional games lessons.
We are really passionate about making learning in Year 3 as fun as possible. As a result, we have planned 6 wonderful projects that we can enjoy throughout the year. From the depths of the rainforest to the bubbling heat of volcanoes, we will be exploring the extreme environments on our planet. We will venture through history, investigating Ancient Greece and exploring the Stone Age and finding out how our world changed between the last ice age and the reign of the Celts.
It's going to be an exciting year!
